300-Hour Modular Yoga Teacher Training
BEYOND THE FOUNDATION
Flexible, Modular Format
For Certified Teachers Ready to Go Deeper
Your 200-hour teacher training gave you the ground to stand on. This is where you learn what that ground is made of.
Our 300-hour program is for teachers who already hold a 200-hour certification, whether from Manas Yoga or from another yoga school, and who feel the pull to teach with more knowledge, more nuance and more of themselves. It is built on the same modular format as our 200-hour training: 50-hour modules you choose, taken at a pace that lets each one settle before the next begins.
Every path starts in the body. Module 3: Anatomy, Physiology & Biomechanics is the one required module, because the deeper you teach, the more bodies, histories and questions you meet, and anatomy is the common language you need to meet them safely. From there, you choose the direction your teaching wants to grow in.
Modules are taught in German, English or both, depending on the instructor. Course manuals are provided in English.
How the Modular System Works
Your certification, your way.
Step 1: Bring Your 200-Hour Certification
Send us a copy of your 200-hour certificate when you enroll. That is your entry point, whichever school you trained with.
Step 2: Begin With Module 3
Module 3: Anatomy, Physiology & Biomechanics is required on both paths. It gives every 300-hour student the same shared understanding of how the body moves, breathes and responds to practice. [Module 3 can be taken at any point]
Step 3: Choose Your Electives
Path 1: choose any 5 elective modules. Path 2: choose any 1 elective module. Go broad, or specialise in the area that is calling you.
Step 4: Learn at Your Pace
Take one module at a time or several back to back. You have up to 2 years from the start of your first 300-hour module to complete your path.
Step 5: Receive Your Certification
Complete all modules, assignments and your final teaching assessment, and receive your 300-hour certificate from Manas Yoga Studio.
WHY MODULAR BLOCK
Quality Over Speed
Most intensive trainings cram 200 hours into 3-4 weeks. That’s overwhelming. Knowledge needs time to settle. Skills need practice to develop. Our modular format gives you the space to truly absorb what you’re learning.
Learn What Matters to You
Not every teacher needs the same training. Maybe you’re drawn to therapeutic work. Maybe you want to master Ashtanga. Maybe philosophy calls to you. Choose modules that align with your vision of what kind of teacher you want to be.
Integration Between Modules
The time between modules isn’t downtime—it’s when the real learning happens. Practice what you’ve learned. Try it with friends. Let questions arise. Come back to the next module ready to go deeper.
No Rush, No Gaps
We’ve watched students rush through intensive trainings, then realize months later they have gaps in their knowledge. Our approach prevents that. Each module is comprehensive. You leave with understanding, not just information.
Life-Friendly
Have a full-time job? Family commitments? We get it. Our modular format means you don’t have to put your life on hold to become a yoga teacher.
REQUIRED MODULE BLOCK
Module 3: Anatomy, Physiology & Biomechanics
50 hours (35 contact, 15 non-contact) | Required for the 300-hour training
December 5 – 27, 2026 · Sa. 11:00 – 18:00 & Su. 09:00 – 14:00 · Taught by Erika Smith Iluszko
Dive into the science of movement and discover how the body really works in yoga practice. This module explores the anatomy, physiology and biomechanics underneath the asanas through a hands-on, experiential approach: you will model body structures in clay and visit Vienna’s Josephinum, the historic medical museum, to see human anatomy up close.
This is where ancient yogic wisdom meets modern anatomical science, so you can teach safely, effectively and with confidence.
What You’ll Learn:
- Foundations: Yoga anatomy and physiology, body structures and movement, functional anatomy
- Functional Movement: How the breath, bones, spine, shoulders, arms, hips, legs and feet work together
- Anatomical Patterns in Asana: Standing poses, forward folds and hip openers, seated poses and twists, backbends, inversions, arm balances, Savasana and Surya Namaskara
- Hands-On Integration: Clay modelling and an educational visit to the Josephinum
Why it’s required: At the 300-hour level you are teaching more students, more varied bodies and more complex questions. A precise understanding of anatomy is what lets every other specialisation, from therapeutics to inversions, rest on solid ground
ELECTIVE MODULES BLOCK
Choose Your Path: Select Your Modules
After completing Module 3, you continue on one of two paths:
Path 1 – Full 300-Hour Advanced Training: Choose any 5 elective modules. Module 3 + 5 electives = 300 new training hours.
Path 2 – 300-Hour Completion Path: Choose 1 more elective module. Together with your 200-hour certification and Module 3, this completes your 300 hours.

SCHEDULE & FORMAT
How Each Module is Structured
Weekend Intensive Format
Each 50-hour module unfolds over 3 weekends, with a unique balance of contact hours (in-person learning) and non-contact hours (self-study, practice, and integration) depending on the module’s focus.
Note: Actual schedules vary by module. Some modules may have different start times, longer sessions, or adjusted formats to best serve the learning material.
Why Different Modules Are Structured Differently
Not all learning is the same.
Asana-intensive modules (like Inversions or Ashtanga Vinyasa) include more in-person contact hours for hands-on instruction, spotting, and safety training.
Philosophy and meditation modules (like Yoga Sūtras or Mantra & Meditation) include more non-contact hours for reading, contemplation, and personal practice.
Therapeutic modules balance contact and non-contact time for both supervised practice and independent case study work.
The result? Each module is optimized for how that particular content is best learned and integrated—not forced into a one-size-fits-all format.
The Power of Spacing
Unlike intensive trainings that compress everything into a few weeks, our 3-weekend format for each module gives you something invaluable: time to integrate.
Between weekends, you’ll:
- Practice what you’ve learned in your own body
- Complete targeted assignments that deepen understanding
- Notice what questions arise naturally
- Integrate techniques into your daily life
- Come back ready to go deeper
This is how real understanding develops—not through information overload, but through experience, reflection, and repetition.
Flexible Scheduling
Modules run throughout the year based on demand. Some modules (like Foundations and Anatomy) are offered multiple times annually, while specialized modules may run less frequently.

FAQ
Q: I did my 200-hour training at another school. Can I join?
A: Yes. Any completed 200-hour yoga teacher training certification qualifies you. Just send us a copy when you enroll.
Q: What is the difference between the two paths?
A: Path 1 is six new modules (300 hours) on top of your 200-hour training, bringing you to 500 hours in total. Path 2 adds 100 hours (Module 3 + one elective) to your 200-hour certification for a total of 300 hours.
Q: Why is Module 3 required?
A: At an advanced level, anatomy is the shared ground beneath every specialisation. Module 3 makes sure every 300-hour graduate teaches from a precise understanding of the body.
Q: I already completed Module 3 in my Manas 200-hour training. What now?
A: Simply replace it with any other elective. Modules can’t be counted twice.
Q: Can I start with Path 2 and continue to Path 1 later?
A: Yes. This is why we made it modular.
Q: How long do I have to complete the training?
A: Up to 2 years from the start of your first 300-hour module.
Q: What if I need to miss a weekend?
A: We require 90% attendance. If you miss a session, we will arrange make-up work or a place in another cohort for that module.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes. After your €500 deposit, we will work out a payment plan that suits you.
