Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a traditional form of Yoga and has a fixed sequence. In this Ashtanga Foundational Course we want to take a closer look at the postures, the so-called Asanas. It’s about understanding the poses, what effects they may have on the body and the mind, and how to enter and also come out of an Asana in a way that fits the individual body. You will learn about the main tools of the Yoga practice, the Drishti (gaze), the Bandha (lock), and the Breath, how they work, and how to implement them into your practice.
