A New Home for Our Studio — Opening Ceremony
April 26, 2026
 16:30 (open end)

Every space that holds a community begins with an intention.
On Sunday 26 April, we gather to set ours.
After almost three years at Franz-Josefs-Kai, Manas Yoga moves into its new home at Schulerstrasse 1-3/24 in Vienna’s first district.
This afternoon is our offering — to the space, to each other, and to the practice that has brought us here.
We invite you to arrive, settle in, and let the ceremony carry you.

The Programme

16:30 — Doors Open
Arrive and take a moment to feel the energy of our new home. The space will be ready for you.

17:15 — Welcome
A few words about our journey, this community, and what this new chapter means for all of us.

17:30 — Puja
A short ceremony of blessing and gratitude. We light the flame, offer flowers, and set a sacred intention for all the practice, growth, and connection that will unfold within these walls. Every tradition of yoga begins with an act of reverence — this is ours. All are warmly invited to participate.

18:00 — Odissi Dance with Kamala Klebavona
A classical solo from the devotional dance tradition of Odisha, Eastern India. Rooted in temple offerings and mythological storytelling, Odissi speaks through sculpture-like poses, fluid torso movements, and expressive gesture. A rare and luminous offering.

18:50 — Mantra Choreography
Together we learn a simple 20-minute movement choreography as a collective offering to our new home — rooted in one of yoga’s most ancient peace mantras: Sarve bhavantu sukhinah, sarve santu niramayah, sarve badranii pashyantu, ma kazcid duhkhabhag bhavet! May all be happy. May all be free from disease. May all see bliss. May no one experience suffering. Om… shanti, shanti, shanti… No dance experience needed. Just a willingness to move together.

19:15 — Closing & Celebration
A collective moment of stillness, and then — tea, conversation, and joy. Stay as long as you like.
This is your space.
